1. How many seats are available for the summit?
A total of 150 seats are available for the World Tech Summit Malaysia 2026, divided as follows:
• 15 Full Scholarships

All placements are determined by the World Tech Forum Selection Committee, based on applicants’ profiles, achievements, and motivation.

3. What is the application fee, and is it refundable?
The application processing fee is $25, applicable to all categories.
This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
4. Can I apply without a passport?
Yes. You may submit your National ID in place of a passport while applying. However, obtaining a passport before the final selection announcement is strongly recommended. All personal details remain secure and confidential.
5. How do I pay the application fee?
Multiple payment methods are available in the application form’s Fee Section, including international transfer options.
6. What if PayPal or other payment platforms are unavailable in my country?
You may choose the debit/credit card option mentioned in the application form.
7. What is the deadline to apply?
The deadline to submit your application is January 15, 2026.
8. When will results be announced?
The results will be announced on January 25, 2026. Selected delegates must confirm participation by February 10, 2026.
9. Can I edit my application after submission?
No. Due to high application volume, submissions cannot be modified after submission. Please ensure all details are accurate before submitting.
10. What is the expected weather in Kuala Lumpur during the event?
In March, Kuala Lumpur experiences warm tropical weather, with average temperatures ranging from 25°C to 33°C.
11. What is the selection criteria?
Applicants will be evaluated based on:
  • Demonstrated leadership and innovation potential
  • Contribution to technology, innovation, or sustainable development
  • Motivation and clarity of purpose in the application
The selection committee will allocate each applicant to the most suitable category.
12. Will World Tech Forum assist with visa processing?
Yes, selected delegates will receive a Visa Support & Guidance Letter, but visa approval is not guaranteed. The responsibility for securing the visa remains with the applicant.
13. Who is eligible to apply?

Terms & Conditions

I. General

By registering for the World Tech Summit Malaysia 2026, participants acknowledge and accept all terms and policies outlined herein. The event is organized by World Tech Forum (WTF), a global initiative promoting innovation and digital advancement.

II. Data Privacy

The organization ensures full compliance with international data protection standards. However, World Tech Forum cannot be held liable for unauthorized data breaches resulting from cyberattacks.

III. Application Fee

The application processing fee is non-refundable and cannot be disputed once submitted, regardless of selection outcome.

IV. Event Terms

Participants acknowledge that travel benefits, accommodations, and other funded provisions are non-transferable. Unauthorized resale or transfer of delegate status is strictly prohibited. World Tech Forum reserves the right to alter event schedules, venues, or speaker lineups without prior notice. The organization holds no liability for losses due to such changes.

V. Payment

All payments are processed securely via approved third-party providers. Participants agree to comply with their respective payment terms and conditions.

VI. Non-Disclosure & Conduct

All discussions, recordings, and interactions during the summit are confidential. Participants must maintain professionalism and avoid defamation, harassment, or inappropriate behavior. Violations will result in removal from the event and possible legal action.

VII. Liability

World Tech Forum is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to belongings during the summit. Participants are encouraged to arrange personal insurance coverage.

VIII. Media Release

By participating, attendees grant World Tech Forum full rights to use photographs, videos, or digital media for promotional purposes across all platforms without additional consent or compensation.

IX. Behavioral Policy

All delegates must uphold ethical and respectful behavior. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct will lead to immediate removal from the event and disqualification from future programs.

X. Legal Notice

Any defamatory or false representation of the organization may lead to permanent disqualification from future events and potential legal action.
